For All Ages

Something for Everyone

We provide classes for all age ranges, from pre-k to adult.  The kids can have fun and learn about God in our new age-based curriculums.  We have an adult class following the Sunday morning Worship service.

Sunday School is for all who want to learn and attempt to follow more closely in Jesus’ footsteps.

There are classes for all children on Sunday morning, guided by engaging leaders who are passionate about sharing their faith and the Bible with the children.  Sunday school time is during Worship.  Consider joining us as we learn about God, the Bible, and how to love because we are loved.  Contact Terry Stephenson for more information.

Sunday Programs for Children & Youth

We provide a one room Sunday school class on Sunday morning.

Des Moines United Methodist Church offers a variety of classes for adult faith development and exploration.  Regular, ongoing classes are offered as well as occasional additional classes so checking the church newsletter “The Panorama”, the Sunday bulletin, and/or calling the church office (206-878-8301) for current classes is suggested.

Sunday classes follow the morning worship service.

Young Adult Group

“Harvest” is a young adult group.  All are welcome but the majority of the group are around college age or starting their professional careers. It is a diverse, international group. We meet every Thursday at 3:30 and Sundays at 11:30. On the fourth Thursday of every month we lead the contemporary worship service at 4:00 in the chapel.  Come! Join the fun! Share in our meal!

 Movie Night

Join us at 7:00 pm on the first Friday of the month for Movie Night.  We gather in room 110 to enjoy a family friendly movie, snacks, fellowship, laughter and maybe even a couple of tears.  Fun for all ages.  Childcare can be arranged by request.  Contact Terry Stephenson for more information.
